Vacation Overview

The rediscovered jewels of Imperial Europe are the focus of this very popular vacation, starting and ending in Munich, Germany. Since the reunion of Western and Eastern Europe, Prague and Budapest are among the most-visited cities on the “Old Continent.” On your sightseeing tour, visit Prague’s Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and the Bohemian atmosphere of Town Hall Square with the world-famous Astronomical Clock. In Budapest, experience Fishermen’s Bastion and the Royal Castle on your sightseeing tour, as well as a romantic promenade along the banks of the Danube. Add to this the sights, sounds, and tastes of Vienna, Austria’s capital. Maybe sit in a café and indulge in a scrumptious Sachertorte while listening to a legendary waltz. Other stops along the road are medieval Nuremberg, Mozart’s Salzburg, and Oberammergau in the Bavarian Alps. Surrounded by majestic mountains and picturesque meadows, Oberammergau is famous for its Passion Play performed by locals just once a decade to fulfill the town’s promise to God in exchange for protection from the Black Death. Enchanting natural scenery includes the Austrian Alps and the Danube River Valley, an amazing ending to a marvelous vacation.
