Dinner In A Pueblo Espanol Drive to the enchanting village of Mijas situated in the lowlands of the Sierra de Mijas mountain range and surrounded by a pine forest. Mijas has managed to retain much of its "white village" charm with cobbled narrow winding streets, dazzling whitewashed walls and breathtaking views. You will have time to wander around on your own before being taken to one of the local restaurants where the decor, music and warmth of the view make a experience worth enjoying. The traditional menu offers a choice of first and second course followed by dessert, and includes 1/2 bottle of wine per person or a soft drink, iced water and coffee.

Ronda City Sightseeing You will be driven by coach to Ronda, one of the most ancient cities in Spain which throughout its history has had different names. The river Guadalevin cuts the town in two and time has cut its deep Tajo or gorge, 120 metres deep and the town's identifying mark. On one side new Ronda, wide and happy, with its historical bullring and on the other side ancient and intimate Ronda, full of monuments that are the living proof of its ancestral past. Both sides are joined by the new bridge "Puente Nuevo" built in 1751. The guided sightseeing tour, which lasts about 2 hours, will start from the Bullring with a visit to Plaza de Toros and museum, then the modernist-style Casa de San Juan Bosco, whose whimsical gardens command magnifient views. Along the way one will see small palaces and churches and large houses of the old nobility with their patios. At the end of the sightseeing return back to the hotel by coach.

Dinner & Flamenco Show Before sitting back and enjoying a memorable flamenco show, sample a delicious Sevillian tapas dinner with several different and varied tapas dishes, a dessert and accompanied with wine and still water. Then the real entertainment starts with a flamenco show which hosts many famous flamenco performers with a variety of styles as well as classical Spanish dance and music - and of course the click of castanets! During the show you will be served one drink of your choice.

Splendors Of Seville Enjoy an added bonus to the normal sightseeing tour of Seville as after departing from the hotel with a local guide, the coach takes you just outside the city centre to the site of Italica - the Roman city founded by Scipio. The ruins of the Roman town, close to Santiponce and not very far from the Cartuja complex include an amphitheatre, baths, theatre and various buildings containing mosaics. After an interesting guided visit, and a short break, return back to Seville and at Murillo Gardens you will leave the coach for a walk through the streets of the Old Jewish Quarter to the magnificient Gothic Cathedral for an inside visit of one of the most complete Christian temples in existence. The excursion lasts approx. 4 hours and at the end of the sightseeing you will be taken back to the hotel by coach. In case the Cathedral is closed to the public a visit will be made to Casa de Pilatos (Pilate's House), which is an Andalusian palace and serves as the permanent residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli.

A Real Portuguese Evening No visit to Lisbon is complete without seeing a live "fado" show. The word "fado" literally means faith and this form of urban folklore is a repository of the sadness and joys derived from the destiny of Portugal throughout its history. You will be taken to one of the most renowned venues located in the former cellars and stables of a 17th century palace. The dinner will let you sample delicious traditional Portuguese dishes together with locally produced wine or soft drinks or beer plus mineral water, coffee or tea. After dinner sit back and relax and take delight in the fado and folklore show with the performers playing music and dancing from all Portuguese regions in traditional costumes. This is an experience to remember.

Sintra & Portuguese Riviera On this interesting afternoon excursion with a local guide you will first drive along the scenic ocean road of the Portuguese Riviera, passing the cosmopolitan town of Estoril to arrive at the quaint fishing village of Cascais. Back in the early 20th century it was a popular resort favoured by European nobility and kings and today is a colourful town with elegant pedestrian streets, some paved with blocks recreating wave patterns. There will be time here to look around and perhaps have some lunch before continuing to the town of Sintra. This beautiful town at the foot of the mountain range of the same name, has been classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. It comes under the special category of a "cultural landscape" due to its natural riches as well as the historic buildings in the town and mountains. A visit will be made to the Sintra National Palace, one of the best preserved medieval Royal palaces in Portugal, due to it being inhabitated more or less continuosly from the early 15th century up to the late 19th century. Its history goes back to the times of Islamic domination when Sintra had two different castles, one located on the top of a hill overlooking Sintra and the other located downhill. After visiting this fascinating Palace you will have time on your own for sightseeing or shopping before driving back along the coastal road to Lisbon.

City Sightseeing Oporto is Portugal's second largest cities and is the capital of the port wine industry. It is situated along the Douro River with a remarkable unspoiled assortment of architecture and many streets unchanged since the Middle Ages. Apart from being predominantly industrial, Oporto is full of charm with many art treasures, striking cathedrals, and water front cafes in the Ribeira quarter. The half day sightseeing tour with a local guide will start with a panoramic drive to see the old and modern part of Oporto. There will be a visit to the Stock Exchange Building of which the most remarkable part is the Arab Hall. At the end of the sightseeing tour you will be taken to a port wine lodge for a visit and of course to try the delicious port wine.

Douro Cruise & Riverside Dinner The best way to see a bit of Oporto from another angle is to join this early evening excursion, which will take you first for a short cruise on the river Douro. This river rises in Spain and reaches the Atlantic Ocean right here in Oporto. On board the boat you will be served a drink (sangria or port) to sip whilst you look at the places of interest situated on the banks of the river. Upon disembarkation in the riverside area of Ribeira you will be taken to a very typical restaurant, which for the last 50 years preserves its fine art of cooking and welcoming clients. The dinner will start with an appetizer, followed by soup, a choice of main course cooked on the spit, dessert and include also wine or soft drinks plus coffee or tea.

Madrid By Night & Tapas An authentic Spanish food experience in a local restaurant tucked away in the centre of old Madrid. The venue with its warm ambiance is home to solid Castillian cuisine and the tapas dinner we are offering you gives a sample of a variety of dishes i.e. "tortilla espanola", "jamon serrano". Included is the well-known Spanish drink "sangria" or soft drink or mineral water. After dinner, see some of the main sights of Madrid on a short orientation drive before returning to the hotel.
