The excursion will leave from the hotel around 15.30 hrs to drive south-east out of Rome to the Alban Hills. Castel Gandolfo is a small town occupying a height overlooking Lake Albano and was voted one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. It is best known as the summer residence of the Pope. A short stop will be made here before proceeding via Marino and Grottaferrata to the nearby town of Frascati. Frascati is renowned for its white wine and is also an important historical and artisic centre. The restaurant we take you to for dinner is near to the characteristic market square and has a particularly charming rustic atmosphere with history in each of its stones. Treasures of Rome by Night & Dinner

Uffizi Gallery
Don't miss the chance to visit what is believed to be the earliest museum in Europe. With a local guide you will be taken around the Uffizi Gallery, which is one of the most important art galleries in Italy displaying paintings from every age. The Uffizi Palace was built by Giorgio Vasari at the wishes of Duke Cosimo 1 de Medici as offices of the Medici government. It houses the most significant classical sculptures from the Medici collections and a big selection of Italian and European paintings from 13th to 18th centuries. Discover The Venetian Lagoon
Discover the Venetian lagoon on an afternoon excursion lasting approximately 3 hours. After sailing past the island of St. Giorgio, the public gardens, Sant'Elena, the Lido and Murano the boat takes you to the famous island of Burano. Venetian Night Out & Dinner
As the title suggests, this is a real Venetian night out. Embark on a motorboat for a cruise along the impressive Giudecca Canal with the tour director pointing out the most important palaces, all built by the Venetian gentry between the 12th and 13th centuries. Upon disembarkation an evening stroll though some of the romantic narrow streets of this fascinating city to eventually reach one of the specially chosen local restaurants for your Venetian dinner. Athens by Night
A perfect introduction to the oldest and most historical neighborhood of Athens, begin this evening with an escorted walking tour of Plaka. Built around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, the district of Plaka is known as the neighborhood of the gods, referring not only to the numerous Archaeological sites, but also to the ancient gods of Greece and their passion for entertainment, drinking wine and dancing. While making your way through the labyrinth of small streets lined with souvenir shops selling leather, jewelry, replicas of archaelogical findings, also notice the neoclassical architecture. See the old houses, once mansions, with their red roof tiles, the Lysikrates Momument opposite Hadrians Arch and as you proceed along the main pedestrian street within Plaka called Andrianou Street, you will pass by the Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, the Bath house of the Winds, finally making your way towards the Greek taverna for dinner and entertainment. Visit the Acropolis Museum
Today you have the opportunity to be taken on a guided tour of the newly built and internationally renowned Acropolis museum. Constructed in 2007 and designed by a Swiss architect Bernard Tschumi in co-operation with a Greek architect Michalis Fotiadis, the museum covers 25,000 sq. meters with 14,000 sq. meters of exhibition space. This was a long awaited vision of the Athenians to successfully support, conserve, safely house, and display the thousands of artifacts currently associated with the Acropolis and ancient Athens. Free time is allowed for walking or shopping in the Plaka district of Athens before entering the museum. Scenic Island Tour

Ancient Ephesus
Drive through the colourful town of Kusadasi and along the coast to reach Ephesus, famous in antiquity for its Temple of Diana - one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - and later the home of St. John. During the years of the Roman Empire, the Greek port of Ephesus became the greatest city in Asia Minor. Upon arrival at Ephesus follow your guide to enter the ancient site through the Magnesian Gate. Discover innumerable monuments including the Forum, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus, the Thermal Baths of Scolastika and the Great Theatre built in the Greek Era and reconstructed in the Roman period, which is still noted for its remarkable acoustics. View the symbols all around and marvel at the fact that one is still able to read the inscriptions in the ancient Greek language. Ephesus & The Terrace Houses
Ephesus terrace houses are located on the hill, opposite the Hadrian Temple. Also called as "the houses of rich", important for the reason give us information about family life during the Roman period. They were built according to the Hippodamian plan of the city in which roads transected each other at right angles. There are six residential units on three terraces at the lower end of the slope of the Bulbul Mountain. The oldest building dates back into the 1C BC and continued in use as residence until the 7C AD. Ephesus and Terrace Houses are covered with protective roofing which resembles Roman houses. The mosaics on the floor and the frescos have been consolidated and two houses have been opened to the public as a museum. They had interior courtyards (peristyle) in the center, with the ceiling open. They were mostly two-storied, upper stores have collapsed during time. On the ground floor there were living and dining rooms opening to the hall, and upstairs there were bedrooms and guest rooms. The heating system of the terrace houses were the same as that in baths. Clay pipes beneath the floors and behind the walls carried hot air through the houses. The houses also had cold and hot water. The rooms had no window, only illuminated with light coming from the open hall, so that most of the rooms were dim. The excavations of the terrace houses started in 1960. The restoration of the two of the houses have been finished and can be visited today.

Ephesus & Virgin Mary's House

A Taste Of Crete
The tour begins from the Venetian lion-guarded port of Heraklion with a drive through the city to the famous wine producing area of Peza, south of Heraklion. Santorini Sailing & Volcano
Enjoy a cruise (on motorboat) around the active crater of Nea Kameni islet. Sail along the strange formations of its volcanic shores, where black lava rocks and white pumice are combined beautifully with the red colour of lava. Take a walk to the top of the volcanic island where sulphur is spewed into the air by one of the craters. Enjoy this surreal landscape as your guide narrates the creation and history of the volcano and the last eruption leading to the destruction of the island of Santorini. The tidal wave created by the eruption was of such an immense magnitude, it destroyed the thriving city of Knossos on the island of Crete.
