Schooner Reef Tour
Combine the history of sailing on a traditional two-masted schooner with an afternoon of snorkeling on North America's only living coral barrier reef. Feel the wind in your hair as the 65' Appledore V, sails flying, makes her way into the Atlantic on your way to the living reef. Seven miles off Key West's coast lies the living reef, in clear tropical waters perfect for snorkeling. As the Appledore V anchors at the living reef, experienced crew provides a professional safety and instruction course on snorkeling. You are provided with snorkel, mask, fins and buoyancy vest. If you are new to snorkeling, all your questions will be answered and soon you will be enjoying the tranquil, clear waters. If your preference is to float on the surface in the crystal blue waters, grab a noodle. The included lunch buffet includes peel & eat pink shrimp, delicious fried chicken, deli meats and cheeses with assorted breads and condiments. A variety of side salads completes the feast along with complimentary homemade tropical sangria, boutique wine, ice cold premium beer, soft drinks and water.
