Traveling northward, your base in Tuscany is the spa town of Montecatini, where you’ll spend four nights. It is ideally situated for discovering Florence with its Renaissance masterpieces, Pisa with its Leaning Tower, Siena and San Gimignano with their medieval castles and towers, and olive groves and vineyards from which celebrated olive oil and Chianti wines are produced.
