In Cordoba, you’ll visit the former mosque, the Mezquita—an important work of Islamic architecture, now a Catholic cathedral. Travel through the beautiful Andalusian landscapes en route to one of Spain’s most colorful cities—Seville. Take a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide through the city known for fiery flamenco, Moorish splendor, fragrant gardens, and elegant piazzas. From Seville, you’ll travel to Ronda—a quintessential Andalusian village with white-washed houses and dramatic cityscapes spanning the El Tajo gorge. You’ll then spend two nights by the sea in beautiful Costa del Sol, with an excursion to Malaga—birthplace of Picasso and one of the oldest cities in the world. Continue your Spanish adventure to Granada. Tour the spectacular Alhambra Complex—the ornate fortress and palace built by Moorish kings (entrance to Nasrid Palace is not guaranteed).

On your way back to Madrid, you’ll travel through the rolling hills of olive and orange groves, and Cervantes’ stark landscapes of his character, Don Quixote.
